Hello readers! I realized it has been a good while since I published anything, so here it is… An update of thoughts and things even thought we have a hurricane headed our way! About that… be prepared. In whatever way that is for you, just prepare. This will not be a Katrina, but it will have surge, wind and alot of rain. So prepare accordingly. Most likely events on campus at Collective will be canceled Wednesday after we see for certain that we will get the expected forecast for our area.

Collective… Let me just say… It has been a great summer! Attendance is up! Decisions to follow Jesus are made every week! Folks getting baptized! New members added weekly! Serve team growing! Largest small group attendance in history of the church for this semester! Morale at an all time high, and let me say, our staff and leaders… You guys are second to none! It is such a breath of fresh air to have staff and leaders that are together, leading and passionate about Jesus and making a difference for Him! Thank you team! Thank you all Elders and leaders, you guys make Collective what it is! Toni and I couldnt be more proud of being your pastors!

So what else? Well… We are out of the farm business. Sold all animals and working on selling the Omlet Chicken coop and run. Message me if interested. Must be picked up in Ocean Springs. We are downsizing as much as we can and simplifying as much as we can in every single way. We have come to the conclusion that less is often more. We are admiring the simple life and loving each other and just doing what we are positioned to do in building His Church! Also, Toni really went less…. She got her dream car, again, a Mini Cooper! 🙂 I think I am going to try to find me an antique Mini one day. I just think that would be cool. Anyway…

Football season is here, LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! War Eagle anyway… Even if we dont have a quarterback…

At Collective, we are in a series called “Follow” about being a faithful follower of Jesus. This is going to be a series that will pivot us, yes, PIVOT, (always think of Ross on “Friends”) us back into alignment of what It really means to be a Christian and follower of Jesus. Please join us throughout this month on Sundays at 10:00 for this series… with our growth, we are VERY CLOSE to having to add another Gathering time on Sunday mornings… stay tuned!

In closing, this was just an informative update to all who care to know what’s going on and current thoughts I may have to share…
